With an estimated cost of $150,000 for the restoration and long-term care of Lehigh & New England locomotive #611, we are taking a multifaceted approach to fundraising including grants, corporate sponsorships and individual donations.

Our first online campaign for #611 is for the general fund supporting the overall restoration. There will be opportunities to fund specific projects including the traction motors, trucks, major sub-assemblies, etc. These will be announced individually.

Restoring locomotives is neither easy nor inexpensive. In addition to the actual costs of work, insurance, storage and other more mundane tasks require day to day funding.
