There are three ways to support the restoration of Lehigh & New England #611 with donations.

Personal Donations:

Recurring Personal Donations:

A recurring donation of $6.11 a week (billed monthly) will support LNE #611 all year long. We have set up a PayPal link that will automatically enroll you in the recurring donation program.

Memorial Plaque

RIPS has a unique way to honor friends and family members who worked on the Lehigh & New England or who built a strong connection to the industries LNE #611 was a part of: railroading, coal mining, slate production, cement production, steel making, automobile manufacturing and agriculture. 

A large wooden plaque will be adorned with a series of metal plates (approximately 1”x3″) engraved with the name of the person you wish to honor and a line explaining their connection to #611, the LNE or the various industries.  

The plaque will be displayed at railroad shows and other events where #611 or the RIPS team are present, including inside the cab of the locomotive itself. 

All names on the plaque will also be displayed on this website.

Each individual memorial is $200 and will be a permanent fixture on the plaque.
